When you think of central Italy visions of sunflowers, cypress trees & lush green rolling hills come to mind...but what about in the dead of winter? Yes - it snows in Tuscany too!
We've had a wet & snowy winter this year in Northern Le Marche. Our friend Pieter snapped these fabulous shots of Monte Nerone, Piobbico & our farmhouse with over a foot of snow!

I can't say too much except that your pictures are just sooo beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I despise snow, but that is simply beautiful. Thanks so much for sharing your dream with the online world. :)
ReplyDeletegorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteOMG! Look at that! Snow. It was 10 years ago exactly when I got snowed in near Anghiari. What an amazing experience. OK, back to Texas where (if it comes) the snow is gone in a day or so... just the way I like it. Beautiful, however, and perfectly acceptable with some of Jason's good food and plenty of wine on hand and Ashley's wild tales! What does an Italian snowman look like?
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness. Those are amazing photos. I can't believe the size of those icicles!
